12-Day Travel Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Glasgow or Edinburgh Airport

Met by your Concierge Tour Driver who will be with you for your entire trip. Transfer to the Lochgreen Hotel in Troon. Rest of the day at leisure allowing you to explore the town if you wish.

Day 2: Play Royal Troon

Royal Troon Golf Club is one of Scotland’s most celebrated links, offering a superb combination of history, coastal scenery and challenging golf. Its Old Course features fast-running fairways, deep bunkers, testing winds and demanding greens, with the famous 123-yard “Postage Stamp” eighth providing one of golf’s most memorable holes. A ten-time Open Championship venue, Royal Troon offers a truly authentic Scottish links experience steeped in golfing tradition.

Day 3: Play Shiskine

Take the ferry from Troon to the Isle of Arran. Stay in Arran Shores luxury apartment. Shiskine Golf Course is a unique and spectacular seaside links course on the west coast of the Isle of Arran. Its 12 holes feature dramatic coastal views, undulating terrain, blind shots and challenging greens, creating a fun and memorable test of golf. Founded in 1896, Shiskine combines natural beauty, history and quirky character, making it a truly special destination for golfers seeking an authentic Scottish links experience.

Day 4: Visit Lochranza and Lagg distilleries

Lochranza and Lagg Distilleries are the two exceptional, contrasting anchors of whisky production on the Isle of Arran, Scotland. Established in 1995, northern Lochranza Distillery produces smooth, non-peated single malts renowned for citrus and orchard fruit notes. Its sister site, the contemporary Lagg Distillery opened in 2019 at the southern tip, crafting heavily peated, robust spirits. Together under Isle of Arran Distillers, they showcase the incredible breadth of traditional and modern Scottish distilling styles.

Day 5: Play Machrihanish

Day 6: Play Dunaverty

Dunaverty Golf Club is a hidden gem offering a spectacular coastal experience. Nestled at the southern tip of the Kintyre Peninsula, this historic 1889 natural links course is renowned for its thrilling, fast-paced layout and pristine, springy turf. Golfers love the quirky design, featuring fun blind shots and small, true putting greens. Its greatest draw is the dramatic, uninterrupted scenery, treating players to breathtaking, panoramic views stretching all the way across the sea to Northern Ireland and Sanda Island. Then take the ferry to Islay.

Day 7: Play Machrie

Also visit Laphroaig distillery. The Machrie Golf Links is a world-class championship course set along the dramatic dunelands of Laggan Bay on the Isle of Islay. Originally designed in 1891 by Willie Campbell and beautifully modernised in 2018, it brilliantly blends traditional Scottish links golf with a highly strategic, playable layout. Day 8: Play Ardfin

Day 9: Play Ardfin and visit Jura Distillery

Jura Distillery is the historic heartbeat of the remote Isle of Jura, Scotland. Originally established in 1810 and triumphantly reborn in 1963 to revitalize the local island economy, it stands as the island's single, solitary distillery. Utilizing exceptionally tall, 7.7-metre lantern stills, it creates an approachable, delicate, and Highland-style spirit. Day 10: Take ferries to Troon

Day 12: Depart from Glasgow or Edinburgh Airport

Your Concierge Tour Driver will transfer you back to Glasgow or Edinburgh Airport for your flight home. Allowing you time to discuss your next golf trip!
