Walk in the footsteps of the greats ... From Jones, Palmer, Trevino, Player, Nicklaus and Watson to Ballesteros, Els, Woods and McIlroy. These legends have all won The Open on these Royal Courses.
In addition to these classics you can chose from many other world class courses including Formby, Hillside, Wallasey, West Lancs and Southport & Ainsdale.
To compliment the world class golf we have selected the finest hotel in the wonderful city of Liverpool. The Hope Street Hotel has the feel of a classic independent Hotel & Spa. Situated in the beautiful Georgian Quarter it is within easy walking distance of a plethora of restaurants, bars and old fashioned pubs.
The average driving time to these courses is under an hour which means you can settle in one base rather than needing 2 or 3 different hotels.

7-Day Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at Manchester Airport
Met by your Concierge Tour Driver who will be with you for your entire trip. Transfer to Hope St Hotel in Liverpool’s Georgian Quarter. Rest of the day at your leisure to explore Liverpool city centre.
Day 2: Play Royal Liverpool (Hoylake)
Which hosted the 2023 Open won by Brian Harman. Afterwards take the famous ‘Ferry across the Mersey’ back to Liverpool and your hotel.
Day 3: Play Hillside Golf Club
Next door to Royal Birkdale and famed for its spectacular back nine. Home to The 2019 DP World Tour British Masters hosted by local Tommy Fleetwood.
Day 4: Play Royal Lytham & St Annes
The Open has been staged here 11 times and the list of winners reads like the ‘who’s who’ of world golf.
Day 5: Play Formby Golf Club
A stunning links course with views across the Irish Sea. Less famous than its illustrious neighbours but undoubtedly world class.
Day 6: Play Royal Birkdale
For many people, the greatest course in the world. Home to the 2026 Open and usually picked as the highlight of the tour with our guests.
Day 7: Transfers to Manchester Airport

Sightseeing
During your stay there will be time for sightseeing around the famous city of Liverpool. Including visits to famous Beatles landmarks such as Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields. If possible we can arrange tickets to see Liverpool Football Club in action, or possibly a stadium tour.
Liverpool has a huge choice of restaurants, bars and old fashioned pubs and your driver will help suggest and arrange these options with you.
